Valentines Day Makeup Tutorial - Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette

Hey everyone! I hope everyone is doing well. I'm excited to be posting today, the last few weeks have been a bit of a roller coaster for me personally but I'm doing really well regardless. I've missed sharing stuff with you guys!

Today's post is a simple makeup look that would be lovely to wear on Valentines Day. I used the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, it's perfect for this look since that palette has got a pink/rose theme going for it. I am OBSESSED with the Naked 3, I use it everyday and I highly recommend it!

Still working on getting better quality photos on here for you guys, my Iphone is NOT doing this makeup justice. Sorry!

Products used for this look:
-MAC 224 Fluffy Blending Brush(Sigma E40 is an alternate)
-Sigma E55 Shading Brush
-Sigma E25 Blending Brush
-Thin Angled Brush(Sigma E65 is an alternate)
-Sigma E30 Pencil Brush

To start off, I applied NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil in Milk to my lids and blended it out evenly with my finger. This will make the pink eyeshadow a bit more vibrant on the lid.

Using a fluffy blending brush, I applied the shadow Limit as a transition color in the crease area and blended up just under my brows.

Next I applied the shadow Burnout on to the inner half of my lid with an E55 shader brush...

Then applied the color Buzz on the outer half of the lid with the same E55 shader brush. Again sorry about the quality of these photos. I promise it looks great in real life! Ahhh c'est la vie.

Next I applied the shadow Factory to my crease with an E25 blending brush, blending that well inward.

I wanted to add more depth in the crease so I applied the shadow Darkside to the socket of my crease with a thin angled brush, then blended that line well with an E30 pencil brush.

Using the same thin angled brush as before(wiped the dark shadow off), I applied the shadow Buzz to my lower lashline, then used to shadow Blackheart and the same brush to stamp a bit on to the outer third of the lower lashline.

I used the shadow Strange as a brow highlight and to highlight the inner corners of the eyes. I love this shadow for this purpose, I hope UD decides to sell it individually one day, because I'll be upset when I use it all up!

That's it for eyeshadow, next I applied my favorite liquid liner(L'Oreal Carbon Black) and mascara(Benefit They're Real). I like winging out my liner, it's my signature look, but you don't have to if you don't want to! False lashes would work really great with this look, so if you feel you need them then use them!

I used NARS Laguna for my bronzer and Orgasm(lol I will always laugh about this product name) as blush. This is a great duo product if you want to try out these shades, so worth the money! Definitely my favorite bronzer and blush ever. If I only had to use one bronzer and one blush for every makeup look for the rest of my life, these two would be it!

Time for lips! I used MAC Lovelorn lipstick(my first EVER MAC lipstick I ever got back in 2004...yes this is the SAME lipstick, it's 10 years old and still going strong. It hasn't gone bad and doesn't smell rancid. It's magic though I don't recommend holding on to makeup for 10 years. I will always save it though since it's my first ever MAC product.) I used Beet lip liner just on the outer corners of my lips and then blended it a bit inward. Doing this gives an effect of plumper lips!

And that's it! Here's the finished look...

I tried my best to capture the awesomeness with natural light but it didn't quite work out.

If you guys have the Naked 3 palette, please give this look a try and let me know how you like it! And if you're celebrating Valentines Day, I hope it's fabulous! I'm celebrating by myself and having a Disney movie marathon.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, I am truly grateful! Make sure to follow me on Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest for more updates! I love you all, let's connect and be friends and just be awesome together!

Shine your light!

xo, Michelle
